The OutBack
grid-interactive system generates backup AC power that is made available 24 hours
a day in the event of a utility outage, providing reliable power. At
night, the inverter's automatic power save mode makes certain that
energy is not wasted by unnecessarily charging your batteries from
the utility grid. An average conversion efficiency of 91% provides
greater savings and a shorter time period for system payback.
GTFX and GVFX inverters provide automatic backup power when
utility outages occur. The FX
inverter from OutBack Power has established itself in the off-grid
world. Now they carry the GTFX and the GVFX models that provide
automatic back-up power when utility outages occur. The GTFX is
sealed and includes a turbo fan kit.
GVFX models are vented and have no fan. Use of an MPPT controller
will greatly increase the energy harvested from the PV array.
Maximum of two GTFX or GVFX inverters can be connected in series for
240 Vac split phase output. All models are ETL listed to UL-1741.

The new Radian Series GS8048 inverter/charger offers
grid-interactive and stand-alone capability in the same
package. Based
on proven technology, but engineered from the ground
up to simplify the design, distribution, installation, and
implementation of energy storage, the standardized structure
and integration with the GSLC load center easily
accommodates any power requirement,
anywhere.
Incorporating a powerful DC to AC true sine wave inverter,
battery charger, and dual AC inputs, its 120/240V
split-phase output provides a total power solution
compatible with traditional North American wiring practices.
Unique dual power module design provides high efficiency at both low and full power operation, as well as redundancy for
critical applications. The modular design assures easy field
servicing of installed systems.
Complete system interface using the OutBack MATE3 and HUB
Communications Manager makes the Radian Series GS8048
compatible with other OutBack Power electronics.
